UGI Utilities, Inc. continues work on installing a new natural gas main in Manheim Township, Lancaster County and will have to close a section of Fountain Avenue to northbound traffic on Thursday, December 12. The closure is being moved to this day due to expected rain.
The one-day closure on Fountain Avenue will extend north from New Holland Avenue to Louise Avenue. Drivers who need to use Fountain Avenue’s southbound lane in this section will have to access it from Pleasure Road.
A message board will notify drivers of the detour. The lane closure is expected to last from 7am until 5pm.
