UGI Announces Two Promotions

UGI Utilities, Inc. announced two promotions as part of a restructuring of its Rates and Energy Supply groups. Both roles will report directly to UGI’s Chief Regulatory Officer.

Tim Angstadt has been named Vice President, Energy Supply. In his new role, Tim will manage all energy supply activities for both UGI’s natural gas and electric divisions. In addition, he will provide centralized support of natural gas measurement and pressure regulation activities, including energy supply related regulatory filing activities, tariff administration activities, energy planning, procurement, and choice and transportation administration activities.

Angstadt will also oversee execution of carbon reduction supply alternatives such as renewable natural gas, hydrogen utilization, and other emerging technologies.

Angstadt joined UGI Utilities in 1999. He has held positions in engineering, operations and operations support, marketing, and as Program Director of UNITE, UGI’s technology upgrade initiative. Most recently, Angstadt served as Vice President, Operations.

Angstadt holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a master of business administration and a master of finance degree from the Pennsylvania State University.

Jessica Rogers has been promoted to Senior Director, Rates and Regulatory Strategy. In her new role, Jessica will manage all rates and regulatory activities. Rogers will direct the strategy, preparation, and litigation of UGI rate and regulatory filings with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and PJM. She will represent UGI’s interests in federal and state policy matters, regulatory filings and proceedings.

Rogers joined UGI in 2021 as the Director, Regulatory Strategy. Previously, she was an attorney with Post & Schell, P.C., representing numerous energy clients for more than a decade, including UGI. Rogers received her undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles and holds a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She is a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
