UGI Utilities, Inc. is scheduled to begin gas main replacement projects on March 18 along several roads in Manheim Township, Lancaster County. The new gas mains are part of UGI’s commitment to continue to provide safe and reliable natural gas service. The work will impact the following areas:
- Pleasure Road between Hilltop Approach Road and Helen Avenue
- Hilltop Approach Road between Parkside Lane and Pleasure Road
- Skyline Drive between Hilltop Approach Road and Esbenshade Drive
- Salisbury Court between Hilltop Approach Road and Edgemoor Court
Construction is scheduled for Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Drivers, residents, and business owners may experience road closures, detours, and traffic delays during construction hours. Parking will be restricted during these hours. There will be some interruptions to natural gas service. This will require UGI to have access to properties to inspect and relight equipment.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of June. Weather and working conditions may impact completion date.
