Hans Bell, President of UGI Utilities, Inc., has named Daniel Adamo as Vice President of Customer Relations.
In his new position, Mr. Adamo will lead all aspects of Customer Relations for UGI’s natural gas and electric divisions, including sales, marketing, customer service, community relations, and communications.
Mr. Adamo has over 23 years of service with UGI Utilities with prior roles spanning engineering, gas supply, rates, business development, marketing, operations, and customer service. Notably, he was one of the functional leads on UGI’s first large technology transformation initiative to implement a new customer information and billing system.
Most recently, as Director of Customer Service, Mr. Adamo led his team of over 200 employees through the transition to a new customer information and billing system as well as achieving award-winning recognition from Cogent Syndicated for customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
Mr. Adamo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and has held various board level positions with the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, Greater Reading Economic Partnership, and Bethlehem Keystone Innovation Zone. He is also a graduate of Leadership Berks. Mr. Adamo is an active member of the Energy Association of Pennsylvania, serving on multiple committees. He is also active in the American Gas Association, Gas Technology Institute, and Energy Solutions Center.
