UGI Night Work Happening This Week in Manheim Borough

UGI Utilities is working during nighttime hours in Manheim, Lancaster County through Thursday, July 2, impacting traffic at Market Square. The natural gas main replacement project is part of UGI’s commitment to provide safe and reliable service.

The night work, which is intended to minimize traffic disruptions during the busy daytime hours, is expected to be done by this Thursday morning at 6:00 am. Market Square will be closed to traffic in both directions between North Charlotte Street and Main Street during construction hours of 8:00pm to 6:00am.

This is the second phase of a project in Manheim Borough which began in January. The project is expected to be completed by mid-July. Weather and working conditions may have an impact on the completion date. After underground work is complete, final paving and restoration will occur later.
