UGI System Upgrade Project Set to Begin In Richland Township

Project Provides Opportunity for Some Residents and Businesses to Convert to Natural Gas

UGI Utilities is scheduled to begin a system upgrade project on Friday, October 23, 2026, in Richland Township, Bucks County. The natural gas main replacement is part of UGI’s commitment to provide safe and reliable service and is an opportunity for those who live along the route to convert to natural gas.

The work, which will impact Route 212/Richlandtown Pike between Heather Lane and Aubrey Drive, is expected to be completed by the end of December.

Construction is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7am until 5pm. Drivers should expect lane restrictions. There will be some interruptions to natural gas service that will require UGI to have access to properties to inspect and relight equipment.

Weather and working conditions may have an impact on the completion date. After underground work is complete, final paving and restoration will occur later.

UGI encourages anyone interested in converting to natural gas to contact the company at 800-276-2722 or gasconversion@ugi.com.
