UGI Utilities, Inc. is scheduled to begin installing new natural gas facilities along Van Reed Road on July 15th. The work is part of UGI’s commitment to safe and reliable service and will increase natural gas supply to the Wyomissing area.
The project will impact traffic on Van Reed Road, from Prendergast Road to North Village Lane. Traffic may be restricted to a single lane during the 9am to 3pm construction hours.
The installation of the new facilities is expected to be completed by the end of September and road restoration work will follow. Weather and working conditions may impact the completion date.
UGI natural gas service is not expected to be interrupted during the project.
