UGI Utilities, Inc. is hosting commercial and industrial customers and power generation professionals to discuss how natural gas will fuel tomorrow’s energy needs. Powering the Future will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, at UGI’s Learning Center.
The event will offer insights from industry leaders on the future of gas and energy technologies. UGI’s energy partners will showcase resilient power solutions, and real-word examples of customer success stories will be on display, including combined heat and power, fuel cell technology, and microgrids.
Media is invited to attend Powering the Future and a tour of UGI Utilities Learning Center, a state-of-the-art facility that includes a welding building, training areas for firefighting instruction, a Slip Simulator, Driving Simulator, and Backhoe Simulator, as well as training areas for confined-space welding. In addition, a training site known as "Responders Ridge" includes three townhouse-style buildings to help prepare employees on how to deal with various scenarios they may encounter in the field.
